Architecture has been a part of her all through her life. Zafrin grew up in a house designed by an architect named, Saleem Thariani, one of Pakistan’s master architects. The play of light and shadows within the indoor rock gardens with louver facades, the skylights, the cantilevers, the architecture books left behind by Saleem Thariani during the war – all played an integral part in her childhood and continued through to her passion to pursue Architecture in New York.
Her holistic approach to Architecture lets her create timeless, chic spaces for her clients. While understanding the ecological value of a project as well as the cultural environment of brands, she evolves her design strategies through a marriage of organic modernism and parametricism.
